Record number of nominations for CMME Awards; Deadline extended due to demand

This year’s Awards will not only celebrate the best in technology, services and mobilisation but also reflect rapid changes in the machinery industry

The deadline for entries to the Construction Machinery Middle East (CMME) Awards 2025 has been officially extended to 10th June 2025, after a record number of nominations were received for this year’s ceremony.

Following multiple requests by participants from across the region seeking additional time to finalise their nominations, it has been decided that more time will be allowed to ensure as many entries are received as possible, said Construction Machinery ME magazine.

The CMME Awards are a major fixture in the regional calendar, honouring excellence across technology, operational performance, innovation, and leadership in the heavy equipment and machinery sectors. Over 100 nominations detailing technical specifications, performance data, and supporting information have been received so far.

The awards highlight excellence in equipment innovation, rental services, distribution, sustainability, and aftersales performance, with a focus on achievements over the past 12 months.

“It is not uncommon for awards like this to have their nominations deadlines extended but this time we really needed to accommodate a lot of last minute requests for more time. Ultimately, we’ve been delighted by the industry’s enthusiasm and the volume of submissions already received,” said Stephen White, Head of Content at Construction Machinery Middle East.

“By extending the deadline to 10th June, we’re giving our nominees the opportunity to strengthen their entries and ensure the best possible representation of their accomplishments.”

The 2025 edition introduces an expanded range of specially judged categories, spotlighting achievements in equipment rental, distribution, lifting solutions, road-making, and access and handling innovations. The broad scope reflects the sector’s growing diversity and technological progress.

“This year’s CMME Awards will not only celebrate the best in technology, services, operations, and mobilisation but also reflect the rapid changes shaping our industry,” added White. “With more categories and a robust judging process, we’re ensuring that excellence is recognised at every level.”

Nominees will gain valuable regional and international recognition, supported by a targeted marketing and media campaign across digital and social platforms. The Awards night is expected to attract a high-profile audience of manufacturers, dealers, rental firms, and construction leaders, offering an unparalleled opportunity for industry networking and business development.
