AJEX to set up key logistics hub in Dammam

The Saudi-based logistics player to operate extensive warehousing facilities spanning 6,000 square meters

AJEX Logistics Services has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).

This collaboration marks a significant expansion of AJEX’s logistics services in Dammam, the Kingdom’s emerging industrial powerhouse.

Since its inception in 2021, AJEX has been on a rapid growth trajectory. The latest agreement with MODON allows the Saudi-based logistics giant to operate extensive warehousing facilities spanning 6,000 square meters.

These units will cater to a diverse range of storage needs, including dangerous goods, food and beverage products, and general items.

This partnership heralds a new era for AJEX’s logistical capabilities in Dammam, a key hub for Saudi Arabia’s oil, gas, and industrial sectors. The city is also gaining traction in non-oil manufacturing, particularly in the food and beverage industry.

The strategic location of MODON, situated 55 kilometers from King Fahd International Airport, 32 kilometers from Dammam Railway Station, and 40 kilometers from King Abdulaziz Port, aligns seamlessly with AJEX’s specialised services. This synergy is poised to bolster the Kingdom’s overarching goals of industrial growth and innovation.

Ali Al Ribi, AJEX’s Warehouse Director, commented on the partnership: “Our collaboration with MODON marks a pivotal step in enhancing our warehousing capabilities. This strategic alliance positions AJEX at the forefront of supporting the burgeoning industrial and non-oil sectors of Saudi Arabia. It aligns perfectly with our commitment to contributing to the Kingdom’s economic development.”
