EV LAB launches the first multibrand electric mobility Experience Center in Dubai

EV LAB, the electric mobility Retail as a Service (RaaS) start-up, marked a significant milestone with the soft launch of the region’s first Electric Mobility Experience Center at One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

This state-of-the-art facility is set to advance sustainable transportation and foster growth within the electric mobility community in the UAE.

HE Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting the UAE’s leadership in energy transition and climate-tech innovation.

“The newly launched EV LAB, the first multi-brand electric mobility platform in the region, embodies our vision of creating a community of EV companies, specialists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. It will help accelerate the transition to electric mobility and enable us to meet our Net Zero goals,” said Dr. Al Zeyoudi.

Guests were given a comprehensive tour of the center, designed as a hub for innovation and collaboration in electric mobility. The facility showcases a diverse range of electric vehicles, micro-mobility options, charging station solutions, solar yachts, and electric boats, providing customers with access to the latest in sustainable transportation.

Retail as a Service (RaaS) is an evolution of traditional retail, offering a collaborative environment where multiple businesses can showcase their products in a shared space with a shop-in-shop concept. EV LAB’s unique setting allows customers to test drive, rent, lease, or purchase top-tier electric vehicles available in the UAE, including a range of micro-mobility products, chargers, and tire solutions.

Additionally, customers can explore electric yachts from Silent Yachts and Marian Boats, with a configuration room for customizing their purchases.

Arta Faissali, General Manager at EV LAB, stated: “We believe RaaS is the optimal approach for consumers, especially with the surge of new electric vehicles entering the market. Our brand-agnostic space allows consumers to discover and experience a diverse range of products within the electric transportation ecosystem, receiving genuine, impartial advice tailored to their needs.”

The center aims to elevate the traditional showroom experience by hosting events, workshops, and discussions to foster innovation in sustainable transportation. Located in the gold LEED-certified buildings of One Central, the center’s design incorporates environmentally responsible materials, emphasizing sustainability.

EV LAB’s app complements its omnichannel offering, allowing users to rent, lease, and buy or sell used electric vehicles. The app provides a seamless way to explore various electric mobility options, making sustainable mobility accessible and convenient for everyone.

Kevin Chalhoub, Founder and CEO of EV LAB, commented: “EV LAB is committed to pioneering a future where sustainable mobility is not just an option but a standard. Our mission is to lead the charge towards cleaner, greener transportation solutions in the UAE and beyond.

“By fostering innovation, collaboration, and community engagement through our e-Mobility Experience Center, we aim to empower individuals and businesses to embrace electric vehicles and contribute to a more sustainable world.”
