First local sale made as special edition Rimac Nevera races to the UAE

The first production of the 15th Anniversary Edition Rimac Nevera is on its way to its owner in the UAE

Al Habtoor Motors, the official partner of Rimac in the UAE, is set to receive the first of nine 15th Anniversary Edition Rimac Nevera cars, marking a significant moment in the country’s luxury automotive market.

This special edition, recently revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, dazzled onlookers in the Supercar Paddock and demonstrated its prowess in the famous hill climb before making its way to its new owner in the UAE.

The UAE’s discerning customers and automotive enthusiasts are known for their appreciation of cutting-edge technology and high performance. It is fitting that the first of these exclusive 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera cars is headed to the UAE, a testament to the nation’s advanced taste and keen interest in automotive excellence.

The 15 Years Anniversary Edition Nevera made a significant impression at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, participating in the event’s renowned hill climb. Over four days, the Nevera Time Attack set an impressive time of 49.32 seconds, becoming the fastest EV production car on the hill in 2023 during its fourth appearance at the festival.

This special edition Nevera boasts a unique copper shade, symbolizing celebration and energy, and practical application in electrical cables. The car features a full visible carbon fiber split, providing a striking gloss contrast in texture and color. Each of the nine cars includes consistent elements such as the exclusive dual-color alloy wheel design, 15 Years Anniversary badging, and a distinctive Rimac pattern mimicking circuit board connections running the length of the car.

The interior of the 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera is equally impressive, with copper anodized switchgear and copper-painted surfaces complementing the celebratory exterior. The cabin can be finished in bold black or pristine white, with seats featuring contrasting copper leather and a ‘15’ embossed into the headrests. The armrest is adorned with special one-of-nine and ‘2009-2024’ script, distinguishing this edition from other Nevera models.

World-Class Performance

The Rimac Nevera is renowned as the fastest accelerating production car in the world, holding more than 20 performance records. Its advanced battery system, powertrain, and software are all developed in-house at Rimac Group.

The car’s front and rear powertrains, each composed of two individual motors, deliver power to each wheel independently. The rear features a 1MW dual inverter enabling 900Nm and 450kW per motor, while the bespoke front powertrain provides optimal power and control. All systems are managed by a complex network of in-house developed electronic control units, working with an NVIDIA Pegasus-based supercomputer to calculate and send output to the four powertrain systems 100 times per second. This intricate system, known as Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring 2, is key to the Nevera’s unparalleled speed and performance.
