GKS Auto steps up to take on MG Motor in Jordan

Since MG Motor's entry into the Jordanian market in June 2020, the brand has seen significant growth

MG Motor has announced a new partnership with GKS Auto, a subsidiary of the prominent regional entity GB Corp. The partnership was unveiled during a ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Amman, signaling a strategic business alliance poised to enhance the automotive market in Jordan with advanced innovation and exceptional service.

The ceremony, attended by VIPs, industry experts, thought leaders, customers, and media, also featured the launch of four new MG models in the Jordanian market. These models include the MG3, a compact hatchback ideal for urban driving; the MG Whale, a spacious SUV designed for family adventures; the MG7, a luxurious sedan offering both performance and comfort; and the MG Cyberster, a futuristic sports car that promises an electrifying driving experience.

Since MG Motor’s entry into the Jordanian market in June 2020, the brand has seen significant growth. In 2023, MG Jordan recorded a 99.6% increase in sales compared to 2022, achieving a 10.3% market share. Popular models such as the MG 5, MG ZS, and MG 4 have resonated well with Jordanian customers. The new partnership with GKS Auto is expected to further strengthen MG Motor’s presence and success in the Kingdom.

“The new alliance with GKS Auto marks a significant milestone for MG Motor in Jordan,” said a spokesperson from MG Motor. “We are committed to bringing innovative vehicles and outstanding service to the Jordanian market, and this partnership is a testament to that commitment.”

GKS Auto, leveraging its strong market presence and expertise, aims to support MG Motor’s expansion and reinforce the brand’s reputation for quality and innovation. The collaboration is expected to introduce advanced automotive technologies and elevate customer experiences across Jordan.

This partnership reflects a broader trend of strategic alliances in the automotive industry aimed at meeting the evolving demands of consumers. With the launch of new models and a strengthened market presence, MG Motor and GKS Auto are set to make a significant impact on Jordan’s automotive landscape.
