IVECO presented a complete renewal of its product range and service offerings at a spectacular launch event, which featured new models for the light, medium and heavy duty segments, including new S-eWay, an electric version of its popular heavy duty truck.
The event, themed “BE THE CHANGE”, was intended to symbolise IVECO’s commitment to leading change and overcoming future industry challenges.
Keeping with the themes of electricity, metal and sustainability, and joining the event by video link, was Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, who announced that his the rock veterans will be using IVECO electric and natural gas trucks and minibuses on their M72 tour in 2024.
This transformative journey, fueled by a substantial investment of 1 billion euros, the largest in its history, has seen IVECO revitalise its entire product line for the first time ever. The focus has been on four key pillars: enhancing business productivity, improving the driver experience, advancing sustainability, and integrating connectivity.
Luca Sra, President of the Truck Business Unit at Iveco Group, emphasized the company’s dedication to this evolution.
“Since 2019, we’ve embarked on a profound transformation, driven by our commitment to meet our customers’ needs throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle and beyond,” Sra stated.
“The Full range Model Year 2024 launch reflects IVECO’s fearless progression and its comprehensive approach to supporting customer success with a 360-degree mobility ecosystem,” said Sra.
IVECO’s revamped range offers solutions that cater to diverse business needs and support drivers with advanced technologies and enhanced ergonomics. The company has introduced updated Cursor engines in the heavy-duty segment and embraced a human-machine interface for safer driving experiences.
Their commitment to sustainable transport is evident in their multi-energy approach, providing customers with choices that align with their operational needs. This includes developing electric versions of light and heavy ranges and continuing to refine internal combustion engine vehicles, including those running on natural gas.
Complementing its vehicle offerings, IVECO has evolved an ecosystem of solutions under ‘IVECO Services’. These services aim to assist customers in efficiently managing their vehicles or fleets, reducing Total Cost of Ownership, and ensuring business profitability. This includes eMobility-dedicated services to support the transition to zero-emission mobility and the innovative GATE (Green & Advanced Transport Ecosystem) model for long-term rental of green commercial vehicles.
Marking this new chapter, IVECO unveiled a refreshed brand identity, symbolizing its dynamic and innovative spirit while maintaining a connection with its heritage. The new logo, featuring a flash of blue energy, represents the intersection of IVECO’s legacy and its future-focused energy initiatives.
This rebranding and product renewal signify IVECO’s desire to adapt to the evolving needs of modern society while staying rooted in its rich history. IVECO’s latest initiatives are intended to poise the company as a forward-thinking leader, ready to navigate the challenges of the rapidly changing transport industry.
