AW Rostamani Group launches New Renault Koleos

Event marks not only the local debut of the revamped Koleos but also the launch of Studio R

Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC), the flagship automotive arm of AW Rostamani Group and exclusive distributor of Renault in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, has unveiled the new Renault Koleos at an event unlike any other in the region’s automotive scene — a coffee rave inside a car showroom.

Held at AAC’s Renault showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, the event marked not only the local debut of the revamped Koleos but also the launch of Studio R, a new platform that aims to redefine the traditional showroom experience. Combining elements of music, art, and culture, Studio R is part of AAC’s push to transform automotive retail into a more dynamic and immersive community engagement space.

The launch was powered by Emirates Coffee Co. and featured beats from Dubai’s No Filter DXB collective, creating an energetic setting for the reveal of Renault’s updated midsize SUV.

“Introducing the new Renault Koleos to local markets reflects our commitment to investing in what matters most to people across the UAE: design that inspires, technology that simplifies, and a level of comfort that meets market expectations,” said Hussam Baghdadi, Senior Director at Arabian Automobiles Company.

“This model embodies Renault’s emphasis on aesthetics, offering more interior space and a distinctive road presence. ‘Think Wider’ is our invitation to customers to explore new possibilities in style, performance, and the way they experience every drive.”

Baghdadi added that the coffee rave symbolised AAC’s confidence in the market and intent to challenge automotive norms.

“To celebrate this milestone, we introduced the UAE’s first-ever coffee rave inside a car showroom, a bold move that underscores our confidence in the market and our commitment to go beyond the conventional. The event paid tribute to Renault’s legacy and forward-thinking spirit, while introducing Studio R, a platform that transforms the showroom into a hub where culture, creativity, and community come together.”

What’s New in the Koleos?

Renault’s latest iteration of the Koleos reflects its evolving design language. Sculpted bodywork and signature diamond-pattern grille anchor the SUV’s visuals, while new body colour options like satin urban grey and mineral copper enhance its premium positioning.

Inside, the Koleos introduces Renault’s new openR panoramic digital interface, consisting of three 12.3-inch integrated displays across the dashboard. The cabin is noticeably more spacious, with upgraded comfort features such as ventilated and heated seating and class-leading rear legroom. The boot offers 589 litres of flexible storage capacity.

Under the bonnet, the Koleos is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 235 hp, matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission. On-demand all-wheel drive and six drive modes ensure flexibility for various driving conditions, from urban commutes to light off-roading.

Safety remains a priority in the new model. Renault’s Human First program brings 29 advanced driver assistance features, including Level 2 semi-autonomous driving, emergency lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and one-touch parking assist.

The new Renault Koleos is now available at Arabian Automobiles Renault showrooms across Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, with a starting price of AED 118,000. Test drives can be booked by visiting a showroom, calling 800-RENAULT, or visiting www.renault.ae.
