GM’s EVs Supercharged with Terra 360 Fast Chargers in the UAE

Jack Uppal: We look forward to the expansion of Charge&go’s fast charging network to take down one of the key barriers to EV adoption

Dubai’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure is charging ahead with the launch of the Terra 360 DC Fast Charger, installed by Charge&go, the electric mobility arm of e&, at a high-traffic location on Sheikh Zayed Road. This cutting-edge charger delivers 360 kW, dramatically reducing charging times for EVs like General Motors’ GMC HUMMER EV.

GM AMEO’s President, Jack Uppal, applauded the advancement, noting that the Terra 360 will enable GMC EVs to unlock their full charging potential, providing significant convenience and reducing downtime. The collaboration with Charge&go is set to expand GM’s charging infrastructure, supporting the wider adoption of EVs across the UAE.

The next-generation chargers unlock supercharging speeds for the charging of EVs, like General Motors’ GMC HUMMER EV, enabling it to reach its full charging potential dramatically reducing charging times.

“This milestone by Charge&go represents a significant advancement for our electric vehicle customers,” said Uppal.

“With the ability to charge at speeds up to 360 kW, our GMC Hummer EV, and upcoming EVs, can now achieve their optimal charging performance, reducing downtime and enhancing our customers’ experience on the road. We look forward to the expansion of Charge&go’s fast charging network to take down one of the key barriers to EV adoption among UAE residents.”
