Micromobility expert FENIX expands to three GCC countries

Service now expanded to Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, Doha and Manama

Micromobility operator FENIX has now expanded its first-in-the-region private e-scooter service into three countries and seven cities, covering communities across Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, Doha and Manama.

According to the firm, the MyFENIX app has garnered high demand, organically generating thousands of user subscriptions to the unique private e-scooter lease-to-own service since its launch in Abu Dhabi in February 2021: “The resounding success exemplifies the growing demand for micromobility in areas and segments not serviced by shared e-scooters today.”

Subscribers of MyFENIX can now access its e-scooter services in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, Doha and Manama.

The service is inclusive of unlimited rides, a smart app to lock and locate the scooter, and free maintenance with vehicle replacements in less than 24 hours. Users who subscribe for 24 months will permanently receive their e-scooter, as a no-commitment lease-to-own product.

“At FENIX we want to transform the way we move in cities and ignite impactful commerce. This means empowering commuters to have freedom and access to affordable, convenient and sustainable transportation options,” said Jaideep Dhanoa, CEO, FENIX. “The MyFENIX service is a game-changer for mobility access, offering a price point and level of convenience that is within reach of the majority of the population.

“The consumer has spoken and the demand in the past four months has been incredible. We believe MyFENIX is creating a step change in multimodal transportation journeys that are inclusive, efficient, 100 percent sustainable and safe.”
