OMATRA expands Saudi fleet presence with delivery of 20 SINOTRUK MAX tractor heads

Saudi distributor OMATRA has delivered 20 SINOTRUK MAX 4×2 tractor heads to a major local company, adding further heavy-duty capacity for transport operations across the Kingdom

OMATRA has completed the delivery of 20 SINOTRUK MAX 4×2 tractor heads to one of Saudi Arabia’s major companies, supporting the operator’s fleet expansion and transportation activities across the Kingdom.

The delivery represents the latest deployment of SINOTRUK’s MAX range in Saudi Arabia, where the heavy-duty tractor line is positioned for demanding transport and logistics applications. The 4×2 configuration is aimed at highway freight and semi-trailer operations, providing fleets with a dedicated tractor solution for long-distance work.

OMATRA said the latest batch would strengthen its customer’s existing fleet and support the continued expansion of its operations.

“We are proud to announce the successful delivery of the first batch of 20 SINOTRUK MAX 4×2 tractor heads,” the company said. “These units will strengthen our valued customer’s fleet and support the continued growth of their operations across the Kingdom.”

According to OMATRA, the MAX range features a new-generation powertrain with configurations offering up to 540hp and 2,500Nm of torque. The company also says the range is available with Euro 5 and Euro 6 emissions specifications, depending on configuration.

For fleet operators, aftersales support remains a key consideration as vehicle numbers increase. OMATRA says it operates parts and service facilities in Saudi Arabia, with support covering spare-parts availability and maintenance. Its current network includes locations serving the Eastern Province, Riyadh and Jeddah.

Established in 1977, OMATRA represents commercial vehicle, mechanical equipment and industrial brands in Saudi Arabia. The company’s SINOTRUK business forms part of a wider portfolio serving transport and industrial customers in the Kingdom.
