Shoneez Trading Group, the authorised distributor of Renault Trucks in Kuwait, has delivered a fleet of 24 Renault C380 4×2 trucks to the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) as part of an ongoing programme to modernise the ministry’s operational fleet.
The delivery was announced under the patronage of the French Ambassador and in the presence of the MPW Undersecretary, highlighting the significance of the project for Kuwait’s public infrastructure sector.
The new vehicles will be deployed across a range of municipal and utility applications, including vacuum suction, sewage management and public utility maintenance. According to Shoneez, the Renault C380 trucks have been specified to meet the demands of heavy-duty infrastructure operations while operating reliably in Kuwait’s challenging climatic conditions.

Wider collaboration
The delivery forms part of a wider strategic collaboration between Shoneez Trading Group and the Ministry of Public Works aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the maintenance of essential public services nationwide.
Shoneez said the Renault models supplied to the ministry incorporate technologies designed for specialised utility operations and are backed by the company’s aftersales support network to maximise fleet uptime and performance.
A spokesperson for Shoneez Trading Group stated: “We are committed to providing world-class logistical solutions that support Kuwait’s national development plans. Our partnership with the Ministry of Public Works reflects our dedication to excellence, backed by a comprehensive after-sales service network to ensure the fleet operates at maximum efficiency.”

Continued investment in vehicles
The latest fleet addition reflects the Ministry of Public Works’ continued investment in upgrading its vehicle assets to support infrastructure maintenance and service delivery. The deployment of the Renault Trucks fleet is expected to strengthen the ministry’s capabilities in carrying out critical public works activities while supporting Kuwait’s broader infrastructure development objectives.
