UD Trucks has launched its new Middle East-focused range of Quester trucks in Saudi Arabia through Rolaco Trading and Contracting Holding, its distribution partner in the kingdom.
The all-new Quester, which was first unveiled to the GCC region in Qatar last month, is a multi-purpose truck for a wide variety of applications, including ?off and on-road use, construction, distribution and long-haul transportation. The launch of the new range ?marks the largest step to date in UD Trucks history in the Middle East truck market, according to a joint statement by the manufacturer and Rolaco, its partner for over 40 years in Saudi Arabia. ?
UD Trucks, previously known as Nissan Diesel and now part of the Volvo Group, developed the Quester range through years of extensive tests, the statement said. The range is built based on insights from customers day-to-day needs as well as knowhow gained from UD Trucks experience in the Middle East and the Volvo Groups global footprint, it added.

More than 400 full-time experts from different nationalities, with extensive knowledge and ?experience, have been involved in designing, developing and validating ?Quester and its associated services. The team has spent 1,500,000 engineering hours and ??65,000 test hours to build the ultimate trucking machine.
