Geely AGMC Celebrates Launch of State-of-the-Art Distribution Centre in Dubai

This launch signifies Geely’s intensified efforts to consolidate its sales and aftersales presence in the Middle East and Africa

In a significant move aimed at amplifying aftersales support, Geely AGMC has unveiled its state-of-the-art Parts Distribution Centre in Dubai. This advanced facility will bolster the aftersales service network for Geely vehicles not only in the UAE but across the entire Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Promising “efficiency, agility, and intelligence”, the cutting-edge facility is equipped to swiftly deliver parts across various emirates and to dealership associates in as many as 35 nations spanning the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Harnessing the power of modern digital and intelligent technologies, the centre promises to transform supply chain operations and elevate response speeds, meeting the demands of today’s digitised logistics industry. Every stage, from storage to dispatch, undergoes rigorous certification and analysis to ensure peak efficiency.

Dr Andreas Schaaf, CEO – New Ventures at Albatha Automotive, remarked on the inauguration, “Located strategically in Dubai, with superb connectivity to Jebel Ali Port, Geely’s new hub is primed to furnish spare parts for the entire Geely vehicle spectrum available to our clientele in the UAE. Whether it’s the chic Emgrand sedan or the high-tech Geometry C electric SUV, we’re positioned to offer unparalleled service to our patrons.”

Echoing his sentiment, Alex GU, Vice President – Geely Auto Middle East, said, “Our mission at Geely is to collaborate closely with our dealership allies in the Middle East to guarantee a superior ownership journey for our customers. This novel Distribution Centre will enable us to amplify our offerings, providing more proficient and technologically advanced services. Together with our regional affiliates like AGMC, we’re constantly exploring avenues to refine our logistics network locally.”

This launch signifies Geely’s intensified efforts to consolidate its sales and aftersales presence in the Middle East and Africa. Following a pact signed earlier this year with AGMC, the aim is to enhance Geely’s dealership outreach in the Middle East, with AGMC crowned the official distributor for the Geely Auto assortment of passenger vehicles in the UAE.
