Nine trims unveiled for end-of-an-era Nissan Patrol

This is the last model to be equipped with the renowned V8 engine, with future versions expected to transition to V6 powertrains

In response to the diverse preferences of its customers, Nissan has unveiled the full spectrum of its iconic 2024 Patrol line-up in the Middle East. This latest iteration, available in nine unique trims and featuring two robust powertrain options – a 4.0-litre V6 and a 5.6-litre V8 – continues to set the standard for performance, comfort, and innovation in the region.

Significantly, this generation of the Patrol marks the end of an era, as it is the last model to be equipped with the renowned V8 engine, with future versions expected to transition to V6 powertrains, either naturally aspirated or with forced induction, to meet changing market demands.

The 4.0-litre V6 engine, offered in four trims – XE, SE, Titanium, and Platinum City – delivers 275 horsepower and 394 Nm of torque, striking a harmonious balance between power and efficiency. This engine has been engineered to embody the essence of the Patrol, ensuring it remains a reliable performer across challenging off-road conditions as well as on city streets.

For those who demand even greater performance, the 5.6-litre V8 engine, available in LE T1, LE, Titanium, and Platinum City trims, provides an impressive 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. This powertrain enhances the Patrol’s legendary off-road capabilities, making it a formidable presence in any terrain. Select V8 models also come equipped with Nissan’s Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) suspension system, ensuring a smoother and more stable ride across various surfaces.

Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President Middle East, KSA – Nissan, INFINITI, commented on the enduring appeal of the Patrol: “The Nissan Patrol is a legendary nameplate in the Middle East, deeply ingrained in the region’s cultural heritage for over seven decades. Its rich legacy of defying the ordinary and conquering diverse terrains resonates with nationals and expatriates alike. At Nissan, we understand that our customers have varying needs and preferences, which is why we offer the Patrol with two engine options and nine unique trims, ensuring there is a perfect match for every driver. This dedication to our customers’ needs reinforces our commitment to providing vehicles that are more than just modes of transport—they are integral parts of our customers’ lives.”

The 2024 Patrol line-up offers an array of advanced technological features across its various trims, enhancing comfort, connectivity, and overall driving enjoyment. At the pinnacle of the range is the Patrol NISMO, a performance-oriented variant that merges luxury with motorsport-inspired excitement. This model is equipped with a meticulously tuned V8 engine by Nissan’s Takumi master craftsmen, delivering 428 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. The Patrol NISMO also boasts enhanced aerodynamics and sport-tuned suspension, making it the ideal choice for those seeking a thrilling driving experience.

The Nissan Patrol has long been a symbol of power, prestige, and resilience in the Middle East, having been an integral part of Nissan’s regional line-up since the late 1950s. Its enduring popularity has made a significant contribution to Nissan’s SUV leadership in the region, evidenced by a 12% surge in sales across the Middle East in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year. This growth highlights the Patrol’s reputation for off-road excellence and cutting-edge technology.

The 2024 Nissan Patrol is now available through Nissan’s partner network across the Middle East, with exclusive offers that allow customers to experience the Patrol’s power, performance, and refinement at unparalleled value.
