Second Truck & Fleet Conference – UAE returns in Dubai

The event intended to help fleets in the UAE run leaner, safer, more efficiently, while making the most of the new normal

The second Truck and Fleet Conference – UAE took place at the Radisson Red hotel in Dubai last week.

The event was organised by CPI Trade Media’s Truck and Fleet Middle East magazine and featured a stellar line-up of names from the transport and logistics sector as well as many of the commercial vehicles sector’s biggest OEMs and manufacturers.

This year’s one-day Truck & Fleet conference also included a unique blend of insight from world’s leading vehicle-makers, thought leaders from the regional Truck & Fleet industry, and a raft of technical and solutions experts serving the region.

Featuring a morning of industry roundtables, on-stage interviews and presentations, the event also uniquely provides a platform for delegates to see and experience world-class vehicles through the new truck walk-round sessions and test drives.

The second edition of the magazine’s flagship suite of conferences is sponsored by Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA alongside associate partner Scania and event supporter Valvoline.

The organisers said the event was intended to help fleets in the UAE run leaner, safer, more efficiently, while making the most of the new normal.

“After a successful inaugural event and a turbulent 12 months, the demands on fleets to be key players during the pandemic and the rebuilding to follow have never been greater,” said Truck and Fleet Middle East magazine editor Stephen White. “But this is also an exciting time where opportunities such as e-commerce, last mile delivery services and digitalisation can take an operation to another level.

“More than ever, fleet operations must control their costs and remain competitive in a highly dynamic market. Those that will succeed will be those that can be agile and open to new ideas.”
