EXEED by Al Ghurair Motors to launch EXEED EV range in Q1 2025

EXEED launches EXLANTIX Electric Vehicle Series at its International Global User Summit 2024, and reveals UAE launch window

EXEED, the premium automotive brand represented by EXEED by Al Ghurair Motors in the UAE, has unveiled its latest all-electric vehicle (EV) lineup, the EXLANTIX series, at the International Global User Summit 2024 in China. This new series is poised to make its debut in the UAE by the first quarter of 2025, aligning with the UAE’s sustainability and Net Zero Strategy.

The launch showcased EXEED’s ambitious plans for the future of EV and hybrid mobility, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to environmentally responsible innovation. The event highlighted EXEED’s direction towards sustainable mobility by featuring distinguished guests, including former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and former New Zealand Prime Minister Dame Jenny Shipley, who engaged in discussions on environmental conservation and the importance of sustainable mobility.

EXEED’s EXLANTIX series will include two models, the EXLANTIX ET and EXLANTIX ES, each promising advanced technology to enhance the driving experience. In addition to their all-electric variants, these models will feature Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, enabling a driving range that exceeds 1,100 km on a full charge. This impressive range capability was demonstrated during a 1,100 km journey from Beijing to Wuhu at the summit, showcasing the vehicles’ endurance and efficiency.

Oscar Rivoli, CEO of Al Ghurair Motors, commented on the upcoming launch: “We are thrilled to introduce EXEED’s first electric vehicle series – the EXLANTIX ET and EXLANTIX ES – to the UAE market. This milestone aligns with EXEED’s dedication to environmental stewardship and the UAE’s vision of becoming a global leader in sustainability. With these models, we are bringing future-ready mobility solutions that support a cleaner, greener future.”

The EXLANTIX series prioritises safety, with state-of-the-art battery protection systems that undergo rigorous testing, including 48-hour water immersion and high-speed crash tests. These features ensure that EXEED’s vehicles not only meet but exceed modern safety standards, offering an eco-friendly yet secure driving experience.

Alongside the EXLANTIX lineup, EXEED is set to launch the RX PHEV, a plug-in hybrid model designed to deliver up to 1,300 km of range. Featuring 4WD technology, the RX PHEV combines electric power with a combustion engine, catering to drivers seeking a balance between fuel efficiency and performance for longer journeys.

The five-day summit allowed EXEED to engage with global media, industry leaders, and EV enthusiasts, providing interactive sessions and test drives that highlighted EXEED’s vision for sustainable mobility.

EXEED also demonstrated its commitment to intelligent innovation by introducing the humanoid robot Mornine, developed in collaboration with AI MOGA, aimed at enhancing customer experiences in dealerships and smart environments. The summit also featured the debut of EXEED’s second-generation robotic dog, Argos, and the Chery YUFO in-car drone, representing EXEED’s ongoing efforts to integrate advanced robotics and smart technology into everyday life.

EXEED’s participation in the International Global User Summit underscores its commitment to innovation and sustainable development, reinforcing its alignment with the UAE’s long-term environmental goals as it prepares to introduce its groundbreaking EV models to the region.
