AJEX to focus on last mile at Seamless KSA

Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce market is undergoing rapid expansion, with Statista projecting it to reach $14.38 billion in 2024

AJEX Logistics Services (AJEX) says it is gearing up for its return to Seamless Saudi Arabia for the second consecutive year. Seamless, which is described by its organisers as the region’s top platform for the future of digital commerce, takes place this week in Riyadh.

AJEX is set to showcase its advanced logistics solutions, with a strong emphasis on tackling Saudi Arabia’s growing e-commerce challenges, particularly in last-mile delivery and fulfilment.

AJEX will spotlight its range of cutting-edge solutions tailored for the Saudi market, including its E-Commerce Solutions and Logistics offerings, such as Domestic Same-Day Express, Reverse Pick-Up services, and Cold Chain services. These solutions are supported by AI-powered route optimisation, real-time tracking, and automated warehousing systems, forming part of a robust network designed to address the logistical obstacles faced by retailers and e-commerce platforms in the Kingdom.

In addition to its exhibition stand, AJEX’s Customer Experience Expert, Eman Alghamdi, will present in the Seamless E-Commerce University, discussing how AJEX’s innovative logistics solutions are unlocking the potential of Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce sector. Her presentation, titled ‘Unlocking Saudi Arabia’s E-Commerce Potential’, will take place on day two of the event, 23 October, at 3:30 pm.

Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce market is undergoing rapid expansion, with Statista projecting it to reach $14.38 billion in 2024 and continue growing at an annual rate of 11.05% until 2029. However, this growth is accompanied by significant logistical challenges, including last-mile delivery, customs clearance, cash-on-delivery payments, and the accurate identification of address locations. These challenges can lead to delivery delays and reduced customer satisfaction, hindering the Kingdom’s broader growth and diversification goals aligned with Vision 2030.

“In today’s fast-evolving e-commerce landscape, AJEX is uniquely positioned to help retailers navigate the complexities of the Middle East’s largest market. We’re excited to participate at Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024 and demonstrate how our smart, technology-driven logistics solutions, combined with our regional expertise, can minimise delays, simplify last-mile delivery, and ultimately enhance customer experiences,” said Ken Robertson, Chief Officer for E-commerce Solutions at AJEX.
