AGMC, the official BMW Group importer for Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, has announced a strategic partnership with Dubai Autodrome for the upcoming 2024 racing season. This collaboration will be highlighted by the introduction of the BMW XM as the official safety car, starting with the Hankook 24H Dubai race in January, a much-anticipated event in the 2024 racing calendar.
The BMW XM, a special model commemorating BMW M’s 50th anniversary, is set to bring a new level of excitement to the tracks. Equipped with an M HYBRID drive system, the vehicle boasts a formidable 653 hp and features a V8 engine enhanced with M TwinPower Turbo technology.
Tailored for the unique challenges of the region’s terrain, the BMW XM includes an innovative 4WD Sand mode. This Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) is not just about power and performance; it also exudes luxury with its distinctive design and premium interiors, marking a historic moment as the first M model introduced since the iconic BMW M1.

The 18th edition of the Hankook 24H Dubai, scheduled from January 26 to 28, 2024, at Dubai Autodrome, is set to be a standout event in the racing season. The 2024 season at Dubai Autodrome will also feature prominent events like the Asia Le Mans Series, DSBK National Championship, Formula 4 UAE, Formula Regional Middle East, and NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekends, spanning from January to April 2024. This partnership and the introduction of the BMW XM are poised to elevate the racing experience for drivers and fans alike.
