Chevrolet Middle East joins duet with rising Arab pop star Nurzy

A longtime Chevrolet fan, Nurzy’s first car was a blue Chevrolet Groove

Chevrolet Middle East has announced a collaboration with Female Talent Agency (FTA) and rising local music sensation Nurzy. This partnership aims to support emerging Arab talent while emphasizing Chevrolet’s long-standing legacy in the music and culture scene.

Nurzy, who has a background in Audiology, is known for her distinctive voice and captivating performances. She is making her mark in Arabic Pop, with a mission to raise awareness about hearing protection in the music industry. Nurzy is rapidly gaining recognition in the local music scene.

A longtime Chevrolet fan, Nurzy’s first car was a blue Chevrolet Groove. In her collaboration with Chevrolet, she debuted the single “Albe Blue” on June 28, 2024. The song, which references her beloved first car, is a heartfelt tribute to the memories and sense of freedom associated with her Chevrolet Groove. The small SUV features prominently in her music video, which Chevrolet amplified on social media to raise awareness of the talented Arab artist.

“I moved to Dubai in 2021 with dreams of advancing my music career,” said Nurzy. “One of the first things I did was tackle my fear of driving and take lessons. Once I passed, I knew I wanted a Chevy because of the many songs featuring the brand. It felt like the universe was telling me this was the brand for me. My blue Groove has been with me through the highs and lows of my career in Dubai, so collaborating with Chevrolet for my debut single was an obvious choice.”

Chevrolet has a deep connection to music, with many iconic songs and moments in popular culture featuring Chevrolet vehicles, including models like the Corvette, Camaro, and Impala. These cars have symbolized freedom and adventure, inspiring countless artists and music fans.

This collaboration with Nurzy continues Chevrolet’s commitment to regional talent and music culture. In 2021, to celebrate the launch of the new Chevrolet Groove, the company brought together 12 Arab artists to create the “ME-Pop” album “Find Your Groove,” which achieved significant success.

Chevrolet Middle East’s partnership with Nurzy and FTA underscores its dedication to supporting and promoting emerging Arab talent, further embedding the brand in the region’s vibrant music and cultural landscape.
