Emrill, a leading integrated facilities management services provider in the UAE, has announced significant operational achievements and safety enhancements delivered through its Techsphere platform.
Launched in 2022, Techsphere was developed to revolutionize facilities management (FM) for Emrill and its clients by streamlining processes, improving service delivery, and strengthening client relationships. Since its inception, the platform has enabled Emrill to complete over 2 million maintenance tasks, marking a major milestone in operational efficiency and safety.
In the past 12 months alone, Techsphere has facilitated more than 2,562 security patrols, scheduled 753,616 planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks for 2024, and managed 549,497 reactive work orders, achieving an impressive 93.16 per cent closure rate within agreed service levels. The platform has tracked 561,022 assets and handled a total of 1,198,934 reactive maintenance tasks and 2,103,910 planned maintenance tasks, driving more efficient and safer operations across Emrill’s portfolio of clients.
Additionally, Techsphere has played a crucial role in improving safety standards by managing 900 incidents across various contracts. With over 2,500 active users, including 1,883 technicians, the platform’s wide adoption demonstrates its effectiveness in enhancing facilities management processes. Integrated into 308 of Emrill’s contracts, Techsphere has proven its adaptability in meeting the diverse needs of clients in different sectors.
Stuart Harrison, CEO of Emrill, emphasized the platform’s impact, stating, “Techsphere has been a game-changer in our journey toward operational excellence and safety. By going beyond conventional systems, Techsphere delivers tailored solutions that allow our clients to manage their facilities more efficiently and cost-effectively. Its ability to enhance both safety and operational efficiency has made it an indispensable asset for our clients.”
Continuous innovation has been key to Techsphere’s success. Recent upgrades include the introduction of a Performance Management System (PMS) module that automates contract performance monitoring and penalty management, ensuring compliance and reducing risks. The PMS module can also be used by clients to manage other contractors and subcontractors. Additionally, an energy module linked to external APIs helps clients monitor electricity, water, and solar usage, supporting sustainability initiatives and tracking utility consumption.
In 2024, Emrill also launched a new training module to improve workforce efficiency. The module offers real-time employee data updates, virtual training options, and attendance tracking, ensuring employees complete necessary training to meet client requirements and maintain high safety standards. Techsphere’s audit and inspection module has further enhanced quality control by streamlining safety audits and inspections, ensuring rigorous adherence to safety protocols.
Hussain Saifuddin, Head of ICT at Emrill, highlighted the platform’s role in driving Emrill’s digital transformation, stating, “Techsphere has enabled us to automate key processes like performance management and inspections, reducing costs and improving safety outcomes. With customizable workflows, Techsphere provides tailored solutions that enhance service delivery and safety across our client base.”
Looking ahead, Emrill plans to further expand Techsphere’s capabilities, particularly in energy management and sustainability. Future updates to the energy module will support greener FM practices, while the integration of generative AI will enhance customer response times and provide detailed summaries of work orders, further boosting operational efficiency and safety.
