Frasle Mobility bets on polymer segment expansion

Sustainable mobility solutions brand Controil sees significant uptick in revenue, particularly from the sale of rubber components

Frasle Mobility, a leader in sustainable mobility solutions, is doubling down on its commitment to expanding the operations of its Controil brand, a move that aligns with its overarching strategy of diversification across all business units.

Over the past five years, Controil has experienced a significant uptick in revenue, particularly from the sale of rubber components, including extruded hoses, injected ducts, and other critical parts like mounts, bushings, and sealing items. This growth is largely attributed to the brand’s deepening focus on the polymer segment.

With the most comprehensive portfolio in the hydraulic brake segment and a strong market presence in master cylinders, wheel cylinders, and brake boosters, Controil has seen its revenue from polymer components triple over the past five years.

This remarkable growth is fueled by the brand’s successful execution of projects with strategic partners, including system suppliers and manufacturers of vehicles and machinery. Between 2021 and 2023 alone, Controil was tapped to supply 37 new products, a momentum that continues unabated into 2024.

“These numbers symbolise a positive journey, marked by investments in new equipment and software, as well as the updating and expansion of the manufacturing facility with new machines and tools, which have qualified our production with technological innovations,” said Hemerson de Souza, Controil’s Business Director and Investor Relations Officer at Frasle Mobility.

De Souza emphasised the importance of these advancements in positioning Controil for sustained success in the competitive market.

Marcos Lovatto, Manager at Controil, echoed this sentiment, underscoring the company’s commitment to continued expansion.

“More than ever, we will continue firmly on this path, expanding the presence of this segment to enhance the brand’s results and the growth of the entire company,” he stated.

With over 66 years of experience, Controil has established itself as a reference point in the industry, particularly in the fields of hydraulic brake components and polymers. The brand’s commitment to quality and cutting-edge technology is reflected in its ISO 9001/2000 and IATF 16949 certifications, which reinforce its reputation in both OEM and aftermarket segments.
