AGMC, the official distributor of Geely vehicles in the UAE, has launched the Monjaro, Geely Auto’s high-end flagship SUV. Built upon the advanced Compact Modular Architecture (CMA), the Monjaro promises to compete in the the SUV landscape by offering impressive safety, performance, intelligence, and efficiency at a lower price point than other more established competitors.
The Monjaro, hailed as the most advanced SUV ever to be introduced by Geely Auto, has among its standout features the Highway Assisted Driving system, which actively monitors the vehicle’s surroundings and autonomously adjusts lanes for enhanced safety. The SUV also boasts a 540-degree Surround View for a comprehensive perspective while driving.
Under the hood, the Monjaro packs an efficient punch with its 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine, generating an impressive 175kW (235hp) and 350Nm of torque. This formidable power is smoothly harnessed by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
To mark the occasion, AGMC has unveiled an exclusive special launch edition of the Monjaro. This edition features a distinctive Matte Grey exterior and an elegant Caramel interior finish, adding a new dimension to the Monjaro lineup.
The Monjaro range is available under a special launch offer starting from AED 123,900 for the Monjaro GK trim level, AED 133,900 for the Monjaro GF trim, and AED 138,900 for the range-topping GF+ model, available in Matte Grey and Turquoise Blue.
The launch offer also includes a three-year finance package at just 0.99%, free registration and window tinting, a five-year or 100,000km service contract, and a five-year or 150,000km warranty.

Geely Monjaro drivers are encourage to take on off-road terrain with confidence, thanks to BorgWarner’s sixth-generation four-wheel-drive system, providing a 50:50 front/rear torque distribution. Users can select from various driving modes to suit their preferences, including ECO mode, NORM mode, SPORT mode, SNOW mode, and OFFROAD mode.
The Monjaro is powered by a joint development between Volvo and Geely – a 2.0L turbo direct injection engine delivering 175kW (235hp) and 350 Nm of torque. Paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, the Monjaro accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
Safety remains a paramount concern for the Geely Monjaro, with an advanced sensor suite offering features like blind spot and forward collision warning, emergency stopper, central glass darkening, ABS brakes, and ISOFIX baby seat compatibility.
