Hyundai CEO joins Juma Al Majid Est 40-year celebrations

Jae-Hoon ‘Jay’ Chang drops into the showroom where the first Hyundai went on sale in the UAE

CEO of Hyundai Motor Company President Jae-Hoon ‘Jay’ Chang this week was welcomed by Juma Al Majid Est in the UAE last week during the celebrations to mark the 40 year partnership between the two firms.

The exclusive distributors for Hyundai and Genesis in the UAE said they were delighted to host the head of the Korean car brand at the showroom in Dubai where the first Hyundai vehicles went on sale four decades ago.

As part of the visit, Abdullah and Majid Al Majid, members of the Juma Al Majid Holding Group, Omar Al Zubaidi, Head of Genesis Middle East and Africa and Suliman AlZaben, Director of Hyundai and Genesis UAE, were present.

According to Juma Al Majid, the trip from Seoul was met with great anticipation by the team at Hyundai UAE. Chang was presented with a thank you trophy in appreciation of his time and as a token of commemoration for the fruitful long-term relationship between the two companies.

Suliman AlZaben, director of Hyundai and Genesis UAE, described the 40-year partnership with Hyundai as one his firm holds with absolute merit.

“As recipients of the Best Customer Satisfaction awards for the GCC and MENA regions, we are focused on our mission to deliver world-class experiences at every touchpoint of the customer journey,” said AlZaben.

“We were proud and privileged to have hosted Mr Chang, who graciously joins us in celebrating our milestones.”
