IVECO teams up with FIAT Pro and Peugeot-owner to power electric van project

Stellantis Pro One to manufacture electric vans at its European facilities with IVECO exclusively distributing and servicing them

Stellantis Pro One and IVECO have announced a strategic collaboration for the European commercialisation of two fully electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) under the IVECO brand. This partnership will see Stellantis Pro One manufacture the electric vans at its facilities in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland), and Hordain (France), with IVECO exclusively distributing and servicing them through its established European network.

The new IVECO electric vans, designed to expand the brand’s sustainable vehicle portfolio, will be available in the Mid-Size and Large Van segments, featuring Gross Vehicle Weights (GVW) ranging from 2.8 to 4.25 tons. The models will complement IVECO’s existing battery-electric LCV range, including the well-established eDaily, which is produced in Suzzara and electrified at the Brescia facility in Italy. This collaboration reinforces both brands’ commitment to driving the transition toward sustainable mobility.

Scheduled for launch in mid-2026, the partnership is structured around a ten-year supply agreement, highlighting a long-term approach to electrification in the commercial vehicle sector. Stellantis Pro One’s manufacturing expertise, coupled with IVECO’s extensive sales and service network, ensures a robust and competitive offering for European customers, particularly in the fast-growing last-mile logistics sector.

Luca Sra, President of the Truck Business Unit at Iveco Group, stated: “We are excited to add two innovative and versatile battery-electric vans to our Light Commercial Vehicle line-up, boosting our competitiveness in the van segment. By choosing to partner with Stellantis Pro One, we are leveraging our shared expertise and historical ties in Italy and Europe. I am confident that this winning collaboration will benefit our European customers, especially in the last-mile logistics market.”

Stellantis Pro One is a division of Stellantis created in October 2023, that incorporates Citroen, Fiat Professional, Peugeot, Vauxhall/Opel and Ram Trucks.

Jean Philippe Imparato, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis for Enlarged Europe, said the auto-maker was proud to collaborate with an Italian and world-leading company like IVECO.

“This collaboration underscores our leadership in the European LCV market, supported by our operational excellence, product quality, and expertise in battery drive technology, which contributes to reducing carbon emissions and protecting the environment.”

By strengthening their commercial vehicle offerings through zero-emission solutions, Stellantis Pro One and IVECO reaffirm their commitment to sustainability and the evolving demands of European fleet operators.
