SAF-HOLLAND showcased its entire brand portfolio for the first time at the IAA

United showcase underscores SAF-HOLLAND’s commitment to advancing safety and sustainability within its ranges

SAF-HOLLAND has said it showcased its entire brand portfolio for the first time at the IAA Transportation show in Hanover, uniting all its companies under the theme SAF-HOLLAND for Better Transportation.

The exhibit focused on key industry priorities: safety, sustainability, and partnerships, underlining the company’s commitment to tackling the major challenges in commercial transportation.

The joint presentation illustrated the advantages of brand collaboration within the SAF-HOLLAND Group, including SAF, Holland, Haldex, Assali Stefen, Axscend, GreenSteering, KLL, Neway, SEM, Tecma, V.Orlandi, and York. Christoph Günter, President EMEA & CTO of SAF-HOLLAND, emphasized the strategic strength of these alliances: “Together, we’re in a strong position to drive transformation in transport. Our brands work in unison on connectivity, electrification, and autonomous driving, leveraging our combined expertise to deliver efficient, cutting-edge solutions.”

This synergy is evident in SAF-HOLLAND’s longstanding collaboration with Haldex in disc brake technology, with a leading truck manufacturer set to install their brakes as standard from Q4 2024.

In line with the theme More Safety, SAF-HOLLAND introduced advanced solutions like the HOLLAND fifth wheels, equipped with visual safety indicators and interlock devices that ensure a secure truck-trailer connection. Haldex’s ModulT truck brake technology, notable for its lightweight, modular design, offers cost benefits and enhanced safety. Meanwhile, the Haldex EB+ 4.0 trailer brake system integrates a TPMS gateway, helping to reduce tire failures and improve road safety.

On the sustainability front, SAF-HOLLAND presented products like the SAF TRAKr regenerative braking axle, which converts kinetic energy into electricity, reducing CO₂ emissions. VSE’s electrohydraulic steering system, with its lightweight and optimal steering angle, enhances fuel efficiency, while the HOLLAND RECOLUBE BIOPOWER SKX 023, a biodegradable lubricant for fifth wheels, supports eco-friendly maintenance.

The group’s integrated approach and focus on innovation garnered strong interest among attendees. Christoph Günter remarked, “Our customers value our expanded product portfolio and increased market presence across regions, enabling us to respond to their needs with greater flexibility and deliver tailored solutions.”

The united showcase underscored SAF-HOLLAND’s commitment to advancing safety and sustainability while highlighting the value of collaborative development across its brand family. The event demonstrated the power of partnerships and innovation in meeting the evolving demands of the transportation industry.
