Bridgestone EMEA is partnering with Maserati MEAI for the exclusive ‘Born to Race’ event at the iconic Yas Marina Circuit, offering an immersive showcase of high-performance automotive technology.
The two-day event brought together Maserati enthusiasts, media, and industry stakeholders from 17 countries, providing an opportunity to experience firsthand the dynamic performance of Maserati’s latest models, including the GranTurismo, GT2 Stradale, and Grecale. Bridgestone’s advanced tyre technology played a crucial role in demonstrating the handling, stability, and precision essential to high-performance driving.
As the official tyre partner, Bridgestone featured its Potenza Sport ENLITEN tyres on Maserati’s GranTurismo Trofeo and Modena on track, as well as the GranTurismo Folgore on display. The partnership underlined Bridgestone’s commitment to delivering tailored tyre solutions for both internal combustion and electric vehicles (EVs), ensuring optimal performance across different powertrains.
Tyre Innovation and Sustainability in Focus
Bridgestone’s collaboration with Maserati extends beyond performance, integrating sustainability into its innovations. The company’s E8 Commitment, which aligns with global sustainability goals, was a key theme at the event.
Bridgestone also demonstrated its Virtual Tyre Development technology, which allows for digital testing, significantly reducing raw material use and carbon emissions while accelerating product development. Maserati’s integration of this technology into its advanced driving simulators ensures precision engineering for enhanced vehicle performance.
Commenting on the partnership, Gurhan Cevikel, Head of Marketing Africa & Middle East at Bridgestone, stated:
“As Maserati advances its electrification strategy, Bridgestone remains committed to supporting this transformation with cutting-edge tyre technology. The ‘Born to Race’ event provided the perfect platform to showcase how our Potenza Sport ENLITEN tyres complement Maserati’s performance DNA while driving sustainable mobility forward.”
