EMC CV signs truck conversion and luxury interior deal

Emirates Motor Company Commercial Vehicles (EMC CV) says it has entered into a new agreement with Turkish automotive bodywork company, Erduman Automotive, for the manufacturing and conversion of people-mover vans and buses.

EMC-CV will now be able to offer customers with “bespoke solutions covering the conversion of people-mover vehicles”, it added in a statement.

Customisations include catering vehicle or food truck conversions and luxury interiors.

In addition, bodywork services can also be applied to Mercedes-Benz buses used by travel and tour operators and transport companies, said EMC CV.

“We are pleased to tie-up with EMC CV and provide top quality retrofitting solutions to a thriving market like Abu Dhabi. Moreover, we will work in close cooperation with our new partners to ensure excellence in every customer’s Mercedes-Benz vehicle customisation requirements,” said Adem Erduman, chairman, Erduman Automotive.

Bilal Al Ribi, General Manager of EMC CV, added: “We are looking forward to this newly formed alliance allowing us to help address the increasing demand from customers for tailored customisations of their vehicles. The move demonstrates our continuing commitment to provide world-class products and services to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.”
