Dutch tyre manufacturer Magna Tyres has opened its Middle East and Africa office in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
The off-the-road (OTR), industrial and truck tyre maker said in a statement that the new office is the next step in its worldwide expansion. The Waalwijk, Netherlands-headquartered company has been expanding its presence in the global tyre sector in the last few years and now has 10 sales offices worldwide, with its products running in more than 110 countries, it added.
The company also produces tyres for mining, construction, port handling and industrial purposes and has recently introduced truck tyres for on/off road use. The opening of the Ras Al Khaimah office follows the appointment of Vijay Nambiar as general manager for the region to oversee Magna Tyres expansion into the Middle East and Africa with the aim of enhancing customer relationships and satisfaction within the market, the statement said.
