Magna Tyres makes M-Terminal model available on Terberg terminal tractors

Both sizes of M-Termnial tyre now approved and homologated on Terberg equipment, off-highway tyre maker says

Off-the-road (OTR) tyre specialist, Magna Tyres has announced the availability of its M-Terminal tyres on Terberg terminal tractors.

The Magna Tyres Group, which is an official supplier to Terberg, one of the leading manufacturers of terminal tractors in the global port handling industry, said that both sizes of its M-Termnial tyre – the 280/75R22.5 and 310/80R22.5 – are now approved and homologated on Terberg equipment. “From now on customers have the possibility to select Magna M-Terminal tyres on their new Terminal Tractors,” added a statement from the global Dutch OTR tyres giant.

“This tyre demonstrates our longstanding commitment to quality and innovation throughout our product development and we believe that this approval will be a ‘solid foundation’ for accelerating the further internationalisation of the Magna brand,” added Magna’s statement.

According to Magna Tyres, the Magna M-Terminal is a robust industrial tyre for challenging port and terminal conditions where the risk of damage and puncture is very high. The 32mm deep tread profile and industrial carcass construction results in a better performance, more running hours and less downtime. Its closed shoulder design and strong and wide rib offers high stability and the required traction. The M-Terminal is the perfect solution on all axles of terminal tractor and trailers, added the tyre maker.
