Masdar has implemented a Tejari/JAGGAER sourcing and eProcurement system in an effort to enable an automated, efficient and paperless procurement and contracts system. The firm says it has been working with Tejari to digitally transform its processes since 2013.
According to a statement, Masdar says that it recognises that a streamlined and efficient approach, powered by the right technology, is required at every level of its business, including procurement and contracts.
Introducing new systems and technology to make our operations more efficient, reliable and productive is a priority at Masdar, and an integral part of our commitment to being a global renewable energy leader and best in class organisation, said Ahmed Baghoum, executive director for Human Capital and Services at Masdar.
One of Masdars key objectives is to support the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, which aims to increase clean energy 25-to-50%.
With Tejaris systems we have been able to save a lot of time with setting controls and templates and reducing the time we spend in preparation and publishing tenders. Ease of access means line managers can quickly check the status of a tender and the latest actions and communications, avoiding any misunderstanding and this can be done remotely and quickly, added Baghoum.
