Nissan launches first manufacturer-backed Certified Pre-Owned program in the region

All Nissan CPO vehicles backed with up to two-year/60,000km manufacturer warranty

Nissan says the introduction of the first manufacturer-backed Certified Pre-Owned programme in the region, provides buyers with safety, value for money and peace of mind.

Nissan Intelligent Choice fleet of Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles caters to a growing need for high-quality and cost-effective mobility, said the firm.

It is intended to allow an increased number of buyers to “partake in the joys of owning a certified pre-owned vehicle from the brand’s extensive line-up and benefiting from the exciting performance, innovation and reliability of a Nissan.”

Already available globally, Nissan Intelligent Choice is available to customers in markets such as the UAE Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon.

With nine Nissan Intelligent Choice locations spread across seven markets, Nissan Middle East said that it wants to reach a wider audience and welcome “even more drivers behind the wheel.”

The firm said that it has recorded a year-on-year increase in sales, with over 5,000 Nissan Intelligent Choice of certified pre-owned vehicles already sold across the region, “signaling Nissan’s commitment to leading the industry towards greater transparency when it comes to sales, aftersales support, pricing and servicing.”

All CPO vehicles sold under the Nissan Intelligent Choice program pass a stringent 167-point inspection and reconditioning process, focusing on the cosmetic and mechanical aspects of a vehicle, to offer customers the highest level of quality and assurance.

Maintaining a distinctive and desirable CPO fleet is made possible by ensuring all vehicles are less than five years old, have a clean history, and an untampered mileage of under 150,000 kilometers.

Nissan Intelligent Choice offers buyers a range of benefits, including but not limited to, higher residual values and peace of mind with up to two-year or 60,000km manufacturer-backed warranty that offers regional coverage and is transferable to other owners. This warranty accompanies all certified pre-owned Nissan vehicles and is radically different to dealer-backed warranties provided by other CPO programs in the market.

“Catering to the shift in customer demands for improved quality, safety, and value for money, we are proud to introduce the first manufacturer-backed warranty on CPO vehicles in the region,” said Adib Takieddine, sales director, Nissan Middle East.

“Paving the way to set high standards in the pre-owned car market in the region, Nissan Intelligent Choice is yet another initiative by Nissan that demonstrates our commitment to giving our customers absolute clarity and confidence when buying or owning a Nissan vehicle. At Nissan, customer satisfaction is an integral part of everything we do, and our robust Nissan Intelligent Choice of CPO fleet reflects that.”

Customers are welcome to visit and interact with sales teams at showrooms or online, as well as browse the exciting range of Nissan Intelligent Choice vehicles at select Nissan showrooms in the region. Along with a dedicated retail space within showrooms, Nissan Intelligent Choice offers customers the same convenience and flexibility they are used to when purchasing a brand-new Nissan vehicle.

Nissan Intelligent Choice is currently available at Nissan Sales Centers in the region represented by Arabian Automobiles Company in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Al Masaood Automobiles in Abu Dhabi and Western Region, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana in Qatar, Al-Babtain Group in Kuwait, and Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons in Bahrain, Bustami & Saheb Trading Co (BSTC) in Jordan, and Rasamny-Younis Motor Company in Lebanon.
