FedEx Express reaches out to Saudi SMEs

FedEx Express highlighting cross-border trade opportunities for Saudi-based exporters at this week's Made in Saudi event

FedEx Express is taking center stage at the “Made in Saudi” exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Saudi Export Development Authority.

The exhibition which is taking place this week serves as a platform for FedEx to highlight its extensive array of shipping solutions tailored for local businesses. This participation underscores FedEx’s unwavering commitment to bolstering the “Made in Saudi” initiative, which aims to empower local businesses and expand their global market presence.

Saudi Arabia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a pivotal role, constituting 99% of all businesses in the Kingdom. They are instrumental in advancing the objectives of Vision 2030, a national initiative aiming to boost non-oil exports to 50% of the non-oil GDP. To align with these ambitions and assist local businesses, FedEx offers enhanced shipping solutions that emphasize speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability, leveraging its expertise and extensive global air and ground networks.

One of the standout services offered by FedEx is the FedEx International Priority service, which provides customers with swift access to major global markets.

This service enables businesses to fulfill the urgent demands of overseas customers efficiently. Additionally, cost-conscious enterprises can benefit from FedEx International Economy services, which blend the company’s global air network with competitive pricing for non-urgent shipments.

Recognizing the growing demand for cross-border trade in the Middle East, FedEx has introduced FedEx Regional Economy services for both parcels and freight. These cost-effective intra-Middle East economy road services are designed to facilitate the shipment of less time-sensitive goods within key markets in the Middle East.

FedEx’s collaboration with the Saudi Export Development Authority, as represented by the “Made in Saudi” program, has resulted in the provision of customized logistics solutions tailored to the unique shipping needs of the authority’s members. This partnership is a testament to FedEx’s commitment to supporting the growth and success of local businesses in Saudi Arabia and further strengthens its position as a trusted logistics partner in the region.
