Randoncorp auto parts brands debut at IAA Transportation

Castertech, Master and Suspensys bring smart materials and a commercial transportation portfolio, as well as electromobility solutions

Randoncorp, a Brazilian multinational known for its leadership in sustainable mobility, is making its mark at the IAA Transportation 2024, one of the world’s largest mobility fairs focused on commercial transport and logistics.

For the first time, Randoncorp is showcasing its portfolio from its key auto parts brands—Castertech, Master Freios, and Suspensys. The exhibition, located in Hall 26, Stand A25, highlights innovative solutions that prioritize profitability and sustainability in the transport sector.

Castertech, specializing in wheel systems and cast and machined supports, is introducing breakthroughs in drum brakes and wheel hubs with its N-Series Materials concept line, developed using nanotechnology. This advanced line reduces product weight while maintaining material strength, which leads to less wear and improved heat dissipation, offering both durability and efficiency.

Meanwhile, Master Freios, a joint venture between Randoncorp and Cummins, is presenting its portfolio of brake chambers, featuring the VHO Chamber, an exclusive solution for the market. The VHO Chamber boasts optimized protection against external contaminants, an innovative design that prevents corrosion of the parking spring, and high force transmission capabilities. With an impressive lifespan of over 700,000 actuations for the parking brake and 1 million for the service brake, the VHO chambers have undergone rigorous testing across various applications, ensuring their reliability and durability.

The standout feature at Randoncorp’s display is the e-Sys, an auxiliary electric traction system that exemplifies cutting-edge technology and sustainable transport innovation. Led by Suspensys, a leader in Latin American innovation and a major global player in electrification technologies, the e-Sys uses an intelligent algorithm to recover kinetic energy, which is then stored in batteries to power an electric motor. This pioneering system is part of Randoncorp’s vision to contribute to the energy transition in the transportation sector, offering a more sustainable solution by reducing emissions and enhancing vehicle efficiency.

Randoncorp’s presence at IAA Transportation 2024 reinforces its role as a leader in sustainable mobility solutions. The company, which celebrates 75 years of global influence in the automotive industry, continues to invest in innovation that addresses modern market demands and environmental concerns.

“We believe it is our responsibility to drive continuous, sustainable innovation, creating solutions that meet the evolving needs of the market, our customers, and the planet,” says Ricardo Escoboza, COO of Randoncorp’s Auto Parts vertical. “Our participation at IAA Transportation highlights our commitment to delivering advanced technologies that benefit the entire value chain, while contributing to a healthier planet.”

With a diverse portfolio that includes equipment, automotive systems, and transport services, Randoncorp is positioned to lead the next phase of the transportation industry’s transformation, underscoring its dedication to innovation, sustainability, and global growth.
