ONE MOTO, a UAE-based pioneer of electrical vehicles design and development, has unveiled a collaboration with RIT Dubai that should boost R&D on electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, renewable energy, sustainability and smart solutions in the country.
Announcing the opening of The ONE MOTO Academy, RIT University in Dubai and ONE MOTO will also be collaborating in areas of mentorship, training and student placements.
The ONE MOTO Academy will also help RIT Dubai providing resources to selected projects planned for implementation and give students a chance for internships, said the organisations in a joint statement.
Conversely, RIT Dubai will now assist ONE MOTO in presenting various research and development projects that are desired and would add value to both parties.
The expansive partnership enables ONE MOTO to access and use the various research facilities at RIT Dubai.
Dr Yousef al Assaf, President of RIT Dubai said this institute was delighted to cooperate with ONE MOTO.
“It is interesting to see how RIT students will be working in real innovative projects that requires technical and business skills,” said Dr al Assaf. “As a university, it is our responsibility to train and equip students with expertise to face the challenges of the future as well as contribute in making developments in the field of sustainable industries.
