Truck and Fleet Conference takes a forward look at the power of tech

Greater collaboration required to tackle a rapidly changing engine and technology landscape in the region, say speakers

Greater collaboration between fleets, manufacturers and the regulatory authorities is required to tackle a rapidly changing engine and technology landscape in the region was a major theme at this week’s Truck and Fleet Conference in Dubai.

Throughout the day, the audience heard from experts from across the transport and logistics and commercial vehicles industry.

Taking place at the Habtoor Polo Resort, speakers and panelists also focused on how their industry can make a practical contributing to the Year of Sustainability in the UAE while dealing with rising costs in the market.

The event was founded to keep fleets profitable and both delegates and speakers discussed many of the main challenges and opportunities facing the professional fleet and transportation sectors.

“In such a rapidly changing market, this is such a good chance to find out how the sector can help the UAE achieve its green ambitions while embracing exciting new technologies to make our crews safer and more efficient,” said head of content Truck and Fleet Middle East Stephen White.

Look at out for more coverage of the Truck and Fleet Conference over the coming days and in the April issue of Truck and Fleet Middle East.
