Intellias to showcase smart charging portable kit at ITS World Congress 2024 in Dubai

The Smart Charging Portable Kit is designed for charging point operators, eMobility solution providers, and EV fleet owners

Intellias, a global software engineering partner specializing in mobility and transportation, is set to make waves at the ITS World Congress 2024 in Dubai with the unveiling of its cutting-edge ‘Smart Charging Portable Kit.’

From September 16 to 20, visitors can experience this innovative solution at booth H6-H6, where Intellias will demonstrate its expertise in eMobility, fleet management, transport operations, and connected mobility.

The Smart Charging Portable Kit is a comprehensive solution accelerator aimed at tackling the most pressing challenges in the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector. By focusing on interoperability, standardisation, and scalability, Intellias is addressing the growing needs of the UAE’s rapidly evolving EV charging infrastructure, valued at approximately USD 360.37 million in 2024 and projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.28% through 2030.

Built on open-source platforms such as LF Energy Everest and using protocols like Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI), the Smart Charging Portable Kit enables seamless integration across diverse EV charging networks. By enhancing interoperability, the kit addresses critical pain points such as fragmented payment systems and limited access to reliable information on station availability and pricing.

With its robust features, Intellias’ kit simplifies the charging experience for drivers, fleets, and mobility service providers, further supporting the adoption of EVs in the UAE and beyond.

Michaela Paul, Head of Transportation at Intellias, emphasised the importance of the company’s participation at ITS World Congress 2024: “Through our Smart Charging Portable Kit, we aim to expedite the development and deployment of next-generation EV charging solutions. We are excited to showcase our potential in innovating the eMobility sector and to share our expertise with attendees from the Middle East and around the globe.”

The Smart Charging Portable Kit is designed for charging point operators, eMobility solution providers, and EV fleet owners. It offers precise management tools for charging sessions, seamless integration with charging stations, and optimized route planning for fleets, all essential for developing scalable and sustainable EV infrastructure.

ITS World Congress 2024, organized by ERTICO and hosted by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), is the premier global event for Intelligent Transportation Systems. It brings together professionals from mobility, technology, and policy sectors to discuss trends and innovations in smart mobility. Attendees are encouraged to visit Intellias’ booth to experience the Smart Charging Portable Kit firsthand and engage in discussions about the future of mobility and transportation.
