Genesis G70 scoops prestigious award

The Genesis G70 recieves top segment honours in last month’s J.D. Power 2019 awards

The Genesis G70 was awarded top segment honors in last month’s J.D. Power 2019 Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study. In taking this award among all compact premium segment cars and SUVs, the brand adds to its consecutive first place overall finishes in J.D. Power’s 2018 and 2019 U.S. Initial Quality Studies (IQS).

The annual study measures customers’ satisfaction with audio, communication, entertainment and navigation systems. Both J.D. Power studies award brands and vehicles with the lowest instance of problems per 100 cars sold (PP100).

The G70s researched in the Multimedia Study witnessed just 7.4 PP100, representing 28% fewer issues than the closest competition. Similarly, in this year’s IQS study, Genesis vehicles saw 63 PP100 in leading the premium segment as well as the industry overall. This 2019 IQS Study result show 32% fewer issues than the industry standard.
