Magna begins manufacture of 29.5R25 E4 tyre in Holland

New production of popular tyre to have EUR 1 certificate for easy import into certain markets, says Dutch OTR tyre brand

Magna Tyres has announced that it has started manufacturing its 29.5R25 Magna M-Terrain E4/L4 tyre developed specially for articulated dump trucks and medium and large wheel loaders, in its factory in the Netherlands.

The tyre, which has long been part of Magna’s M-Terrain range “has proven to be the ideal tyre pattern for earthmoving equipment operating on challenging off-road surfaces”, said the company. Previously manufactured in other locations around the world, the tyre will now also be made in the com[nay’s facility in the Netherlands, giving it a EUR 1 certificate, which will enable customers in certain markets; such as Turkey to import it at zero or a reduced import duty.

“The demand from the market for made in Holland tyres is increasing strongly, in particular the size 29.5R25. With the current addition, Magna Tyres responds at the earliest opportunity and show that they are capable to listen to the market and able to produce it within a short time. The number of sizes in the M-Terrain series rises to three, and hence complements the 25” Made in Holland line-up. Magna Tyres is now able to deliver a Made in Holland solution ranging from 17.5R25 to 29.5R25,” said a statement from Magna.

The 29.5R25 Magna M-Terrain is now in production and with immediate effect, and being offered to the complete market, said the statement.
