US vehicle importer says new Sharjah HQ is a staging point in global expansion plans

Caucasus Auto Import says it has tailored its offering to meet the needs of UAE dealers with a suite of services that "cover the entire vehicle import journey"

Caucasus Auto Import, one of the leading U.S. vehicle importers with more than two decades of global experience, has officially launched its UAE headquarters in Sharjah, marking a major milestone in its international expansion.

The move brings the company’s dealer-focused services to one of the world’s most competitive and dynamic automotive markets, providing UAE car dealers with direct access to its end-to-end import solutions.

Founded in 2004, Caucasus Auto Import has already delivered nearly one million vehicles from the United States to Europe and Asia, building its reputation on safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Its 700-strong team spans eight countries — including Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and now the UAE — enabling it to provide localised, on-the-ground support for dealers across the Middle East.

“With our new UAE headquarters, we are taking a significant step in our mission to transform the vehicle import process for dealers,” said George Makaridze, Regional Director of Caucasus Auto Import. “The UAE is not just a new market for us, it is a gateway to the wider Middle East and Central Asia. Our goal is to set new standards of transparency, efficiency, and customer-focused solutions while becoming the trusted partner of choice for every dealer in the region.”

Caucasus Auto Import has tailored its offering to meet the needs of UAE dealers with a suite of services that cover the entire vehicle import journey. Dealers will now benefit from premium access to certified A-category US auction platforms, such as Copart, with some of the lowest fees currently available in the market.

The company also provides comprehensive vehicle selection and inspection services, carrying out full history checks via Carfax and Autocheck, alongside professional bid-on-behalf support to simplify purchasing decisions. Shipping and insurance are integrated into the process, with faster transit times, no intermediary costs, and transparent pricing that ensures dealers have full visibility over their expenses.

Each dealer is assigned a dedicated personal manager, providing tailored support and offering the option of face-to-face consultations to strengthen trust and responsiveness. The company also manages customs clearance and logistics end-to-end, handling documentation, port procedures, and final delivery under a single consolidated invoice.

In addition, Caucasus Auto Import is extending a range of value-added services for the UAE market. These include financing products designed specifically for dealers, competitive motorcycle shipping, SUV transport at sedan rates, and flexible handling of U.S. car titles, making the import process both cost-effective and adaptable.

The UAE’s fast-growing automotive sector, driven by surging demand for quality vehicles and efficient sourcing channels, makes it a strategic hub for Caucasus Auto Import. By basing operations in Sharjah, the company positions itself as a bridge between U.S. auctions and regional dealerships — promising faster turnaround, predictable costs, and a customer experience that extends well beyond logistics.

With its UAE debut, the company says its long-term vision is to set new benchmarks in reliability, transparency, and dealer support, ultimately empowering the region’s dealerships to expand with confidence.
