Dubai South unveils new flexible multiuser facilities to attract logistics sector

Thee facilities offer direct access to the UAE’s key transport infrastructure, including Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port

Dubai South has announced the launch of new state-of-the-art multiuser facilities within its Logistics District, aimed at supporting the UAE’s growing logistics and e-commerce sectors. The new development spans over 215,000 sq. ft. of built-up area and features flexible, air-conditioned units designed to meet the needs of SMEs, traders, logistics providers, and e-commerce operators.

Strategically positioned within the freight forwarding zone, the facilities offer direct access to the UAE’s key transport infrastructure, including Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port, as well as the national road network. Completion and handover of the development are scheduled for Q1 2026.

The units are available in two sizes—2,152 sq. ft. and 3,767 sq. ft.—and can be combined to accommodate larger operations. All units are temperature-controlled and allow for tailored fit-outs to suit specific operational requirements. On-site retail amenities have also been included to improve the day-to-day experience for tenants and employees.

Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, said: “At Dubai South, we are committed to empowering businesses with innovative, flexible, and sustainable solutions that drive growth and operational efficiency.

“The launch of our new multiuser facilities underscores our commitment to supporting SMEs by providing strategically located, state-of-the-art infrastructure that meets the evolving demands of the regional and global markets.”

The district offers dedicated zones with direct access to the cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as EZDubai, a purpose-built e-commerce free zone, and a Contract Logistics Zone. Tenants also benefit from bonded corridor access to Jebel Ali Port.
