Abu Dhabi ready-mix major expands transit mixer fleet with 20 Mercedes-Benz units

CONMIX takes delivery of heavy-duty trucks equipped with Liebherr transit mixers from Daimler Truck dealer EMC – Commercial Vehicles for Al Mafraq facility

EMC – Commercial Vehicles has delivered 20 heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz 8×4 trucks equipped with Liebherr transit mixers to ready-mix concrete producer CONMIX in Abu Dhabi.

The delivery, which took place at CONMIX’s Al Mafraq facility in Abu Dhabi, seeks to improve supply capacity across projects in the UAE and support the growth of its ready-mix concrete businesses, said a statement from the company.

Delegates from the Daimler Truck Middle East Africa team, senior leadership from CONMIX, EMC – Commercial Vehicles , and Liebherr Group Middle East, attended the handover at CONMIX’s new facility, reinforcing a shared commitment to excellence and a unified vision for the future.

Strength of collaboration

In a statement about the development, Daimler Trucks Middle East and Africa said: “Strong partnerships are built on a shared vision for progress. We congratulate EMC – Commercial Vehicles and CONMIX on the beginning of a new chapter, as Mercedes-Benz Trucks equipped with Liebherr Group mixers join CONMIX’s fleet to support the UAE’s ready-mix sector – a milestone that reflects the strength of collaboration across the region and the trust that continues to define Mercedes-Benz Trucks in the Middle East and Africa.

EMC – Commercial Vehicles commented in a statement: “We are proud to celebrate the beginning of our partnership with CONMIX, a key player in the UAE’s ready-mix sector, as they continue to strengthen their operations through Mercedes-Benz Trucks equipped with Liebherr mixers.”

CONMIX added that the investment is in line with continuing fleet upgrades, which will see more expansion in 2026 to improve operating effectiveness and meet rising demand.
