Aldar to build UAE’s First Tesla Experience Centre on Yas Island

Spanning more than 5,000 sqm of leasable area, the centre is designed to deliver a seamless customer journey - and yes there is charging

Aldar has announced plans to develop the UAE’s first Tesla Experience Centre, a landmark facility that will combine a showroom, service centre, and delivery hall under one roof. The build-to-suit site on Yas Island is set to further strengthen the capital’s appeal as a hub for global automotive brands.

Spanning more than 5,000 sqm of leasable area, the centre is designed to deliver a seamless customer journey while optimising operational efficiency. It will also play a critical role in expanding Tesla’s footprint in the UAE and supporting its long-term growth in the region.

Jassem Saleh Busaibe, CEO of Aldar Investment, said: “This build-to-suit development for one of the world’s most recognisable brands represents another step in the evolution of Aldar’s industrial and logistics offerings. It reflects the confidence global companies have in Aldar as a partner of choice, and in Yas Island as a strategic base for long-term growth.”

Tesla Middle East General Manager, Pawel Trzpis, added: “We are excited to expand our operations in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with our first purpose-built site. We look forward to welcoming our current and future customers to experience this site upon its public opening. This milestone solidifies our focus and commitment to expanding in the region.”

The centre will feature 170 parking spaces equipped with 20 V4 Tesla Supercharger stalls, offering fast-charging convenience for customers. Targeting an Estidama 3 Pearl rating, the facility incorporates Net Zero-aligned principles, including rooftop solar, LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC systems, rainwater recycling, and low-emission materials.

Located along the E12 highway with direct connections to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the project is scheduled for completion in 2027.

The development underscores both Tesla’s commitment to the Middle East and Aldar’s strategy of positioning Yas Island as a premier destination for international investment in automotive, retail, and logistics real estate.
