Arabian Adventures expands into Oman

Caters to the growing global interest in high-end and adventure travel, particularly from luxury travel trade partners in the UK and Europe

Arabian Adventures, a leading destination management company (DMC) under the dnata Travel Group, has announced its expansion into Oman to meet increasing demand from global travel partners. The move is set to enhance the tourism and events sector in the Sultanate, offering bespoke travel experiences and tailored itineraries, including optional Dubai stopovers.

Building on over two decades of DMC expertise in Oman, Arabian Adventures aims to provide a seamless travel experience with a one-stop-shop approach. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including airport meet and greet, private transfers, guided tours, accommodation booking, and 24/7 emergency assistance.

In response to diverse traveller preferences, Arabian Adventures has launched a range of exclusive, customisable itineraries in Oman:

  • ‘Discover Oman’ – A curated journey through Oman’s cultural and natural landmarks.
  • ‘Wellness Retreat in Oman’ – A luxury experience combining relaxation and rejuvenation, with an optional Dubai stopover.
  • ‘Hike Above the Mountains in Oman’ – A guided adventure exploring the rugged beauty of Oman’s mountainous regions.

These seasonal itineraries are designed to cater to the growing global interest in high-end and adventure travel, particularly from luxury travel trade partners in the UK and Europe.

Arabian Adventures Meetings, Incentives, and Events (AAMIE), the company’s dedicated events division, is expanding its award-winning services in Oman. To support this, the company has appointed two in-destination specialists based in Muscat: Thuwaiba Al Harthy, Sales & Events Executive, and Mohammed Bash, Operations Manager. Both bring local insights and multilingual expertise in Arabic and French, ensuring seamless event execution tailored to Oman’s unique landscape and culture.

Alaa AlKhatib, Vice President – Destination Management at dnata Travel Group, highlighted the strategic importance of the expansion: “Travel between the UAE and Oman continues to gain momentum, with seamless travel options by air and road. With a surge in demand for premium itineraries from our global partners, particularly in the luxury travel and events segments, expanding our operations into Oman was the natural next step. Arabian Adventures is uniquely positioned to deliver tailor-made travel solutions that showcase the beauty and heritage of Oman.”

With this latest expansion, Arabian Adventures is set to elevate Oman’s profile as a premier travel and event destination, offering high-quality services and exclusive experiences that cater to the evolving needs of global travellers and event planners.
