The next edition of Automechanika Riyadh will be held from January 11–13, 2027, at a new venue, the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC), marking a strategic shift designed to position the event as the Kingdom’s first major automotive aftermarket gathering of the year, the organizer has announced.
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia said the move is expected to stimulate early dealmaking, increase international participation and inject fresh momentum into a sector advancing under Saudi Vision 2030. The organiser added that the 2027 edition will accommodate more than 19,000 visitors and upwards of 500 exhibitors, benefiting from expanded space and improved networking opportunities, as well as enhanced show features.

January move increase commercial potential
By moving to January, the exhibition aligns itself with the start of the business calendar, offering greater commercial potential for exhibitors, buyers, distributors and other stakeholders across the automotive aftermarket value chain, said Messe Frankfurt.
Saudi Arabia remains one of the region’s fastest-growing automotive markets, supported by a rising vehicle parc, major investments in mobility, infrastructure development and the long-term objectives of Vision 2030. Research from GMI indicates the Kingdom’s automotive aftermarket will reach $9.6bn by 2032, growing at a compound annual rate of 5.2%.
The 2027 event will host a mix of international and regional exhibitors, alongside country pavilions and buyers, to encourage sourcing, partnerships and broader industry development.
Commenting on the development, Martyn Cox, Show Director, Automechanika Riyadh, said: “Automechanika Riyadh 2027 represents an important evolution for the brand. The move to January and our new home at Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre strengthens the show’s position as a key enabler of industry transformation in the Kingdom. As Saudi Arabia continues to advance its automotive ambitions, the event will play a central role in supporting the development of a more integrated, innovative and globally competitive aftermarket sector.”

Return of Automechanika Academy
The event will also see the return of the Automechanika Academy, which will address topics such as EV readiness, digitalisation, localisation, smart workshops and shifting aftermarket and supply chain trends, alongside live demonstrations and product showcases.
Chris Lee, Portfolio Director, Mobility & Logistics Division, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “The strength of the Saudi automotive aftermarket continues to attract significant international interest, and Automechanika Riyadh provides a proven platform to unveil that opportunity. The 2027 edition will deliver an even more comprehensive and high-quality experience, bringing together the right audiences, the right solutions and the right conversations to drive business forward.”
With its new timing, larger venue and alignment with national economic goals, the 2027 edition is expected to strengthen its role in driving innovation, growth and international collaboration across Saudi Arabia’s automotive aftermarket sector.
