Dongfeng has officially launched the Rich 7 pickup in the UAE, offering a rugged yet refined option for drivers seeking a work-ready truck that doesn’t compromise on comfort or modern tech.
Backed by MAHY Khoory Automotive, the Dongfeng Rich 7 combines strong performance credentials, premium features, and a competitive price point to meet the needs of both business users and lifestyle buyers.
Described as “where strength meets style,” the Rich 7 is engineered for real-world conditions—from worksites to winding roads to off-road terrain. The pickup is available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive variants, with transmission options that include a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic.
This flexibility allows the vehicle to cater to different driving preferences and operational requirements.
With a maximum payload of up to 855 kg and ground clearance reaching 225 mm, the Rich 7 doesn’t shy away from heavy-duty responsibilities. It boasts a gross vehicle weight of up to 2,740 kg, ensuring it can carry its weight across challenging conditions while maintaining control and balance.
The 4WD version, in particular, is suited for those tackling off-road trails or more demanding commercial applications.
Despite its rugged build, the Rich 7 surprises with a suite of interior features that bring comfort to the forefront. The cabin is available with leather or fabric seating options and includes driver and passenger electronic seat adjustment. Comfort is enhanced by automatic climate control and rear air-conditioning vents, a sunroof, and a smart overhead console with integrated map lights. The entry-level 272A MT model features a 6-speed manual transmission and 2WD, a load capacity of 815 kg, and 195 mm of ground clearance with 255/70R16 tyres. The 273A AT (2WD) version comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, a higher load capacity of 855 kg, and the same 195 mm clearance, but rides on 265/60R18 tyres.
The top-spec 273A AT (4WD) variant also features the 8-speed automatic but adds increased ground clearance of 225 mm, with the same high-spec tyres. All three variants are supported by a 73-litre fuel tank, enabling extended operation between refuels—ideal for UAE highway or desert conditions.
Available through MAHY Khoory Automotive, the full-option diesel 4WD model is priced at approximately AED 130,000, making it a strong contender in the mid-size pickup segment.
