JAS Middle East sets up regional HQ in Dubai South

Launch of new regional hub strengthen logistics presence and is tailored to address the specific logistics needs of the Middle East

JAS Middle East, a global logistics and supply chain leader, has inaugurated its new regional headquarters in Dubai South.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by dignitaries and senior executives including HE Edoardo Napoli, Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Dubai; Biagio Bruni, Founder & Chairman of JAS Worldwide; Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, Dubai South; and Erwin Wittemaier, Area VP of JAS Middle East.

The new headquarters, a 19,170-square-metre Build-to-Suit facility, signals a major milestone in JAS’s regional expansion strategy. Designed with sustainability, operational efficiency, and innovation at its core, the ESG-compliant facility is tailored to address the specific logistics needs of the Middle East.

The advanced warehouse will feature a combination of racked and bulk storage, three temperature-controlled chambers, 12 loading bays with dock levellers and roller shutter doors, and office space spread across two floors. With a building height of over 14 metres and adherence to the latest fire safety regulations, the facility is set to become a benchmark in logistics infrastructure. Solar panels will be installed on the roof, helping to offset utility costs and align with environmental and sustainability goals.

Speaking at the event, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, said: “We are pleased to attend the official opening of JAS Middle East’s new headquarters at Dubai South. This new facility will cater to the UAE and the wider Middle East region through best-in-class logistics solutions. We are proud to see the Logistics District flourishing with global industry leaders such as JAS, recognising the strategic advantages we offer to support their growth and expansion. With its cutting-edge design and ESG-compliant infrastructure, this facility enhances Dubai South’s role in shaping the future of aviation and logistics in the region.”

Biagio Bruni, Founder & Chairman of JAS Worldwide, added: “This facility is a testament to our focus on innovation, sustainability, and excellent service. We are proud to strengthen our presence in this dynamic region and look forward to continuing to support our customers with tailored and innovative logistics solutions.”

The inauguration underscores Dubai South’s growing stature as a premier logistics hub. The Logistics District offers seamless access to major infrastructure assets, including a bonded logistics corridor to Jebel Ali Port and direct connectivity to cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport. It also includes EZDubai, a dedicated e-commerce free zone, and a Contract Logistics Zone, providing comprehensive support to global and regional players.

The opening of JAS Middle East’s headquarters marks another key development in Dubai South’s mission to attract global leaders and foster innovation in logistics, transportation, and trade across the region.
