Kia MEA using real-life driver stories to celebrate its 80th anniversary

Kia highlights inspiring stories of repeat buyers and high-mileage drivers who continue to choose the brand year after year for its reliability

Kia is spotlighting remarkable real-life stories from its community of devoted drivers.
The firm said in a statement, that the new series of driver insights will celebrate their enduring bond to the brand: “At the heart of Kia Middle East & Africa’s success lies trust, loyalty of its customers, and an unwavering commitment to quality.”
One such story is that of Abdulmajeed Albadrani, an avid road-tripper from Madinah Saudi Arabia, whose 2017 Kia Optima has accompanied him on countless journeys, covering over one million kilometres across the region. From city roads to cross-border travels through Dubai, Kuwait and Qatar, his experience highlights the durability and dependability that define Kia’s vehicles. Albadrani fondly calls his Kia Optima “memories on wheels”, and for him, driving is “full freedom” and a “source of happiness”, with the vehicle being his trusted companion on long and short journeys.
For Sultan Al Harbi, CEO of Rotana Rental Group, Kia vehicles have become central to his thriving business. Managing a fleet of 17,000 cars that span over 85 branches across Saudi Arabia, Al Harbi values efficiency and dependability. Today, 40% of his company’s fleet consists of Kia models, a testament to their performance and reliability. His personal vehicle of choice, the 2024 Kia Sportage, reflects his continued confidence in Kia’s evolution.
“These real-life stories are a testament to the trust and loyalty that Kia owners place in our brand,” said Ahmed Soudodi, Vice President, Product, Marketing & Mobility at Kia Middle East & Africa. “At Kia, quality is more than just a standard that needs to be attained. It’s a promise we make to our customers every single day. Whether it’s repeat buyers who continue to choose Kia or high-mileage drivers pushing the limits of durability, these positive experiences reinforce our commitment to providing world class reliability, safety, and customer-centric innovation.”
For decades, Kia says it has evolved alongside its customers, continuously enhancing quality, safety, and technology across its lineup. Demonstrating a strong global presence, Kia operates state-of-the-art R&D centres and nine manufacturing facilities across 175 countries, “ensuring that every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.”
Kia has earned numerous accolades from prestigious organisations worldwide that recognise its excellence in design, performance and sustainability. The brand’s commitment has made it the most awarded car brand in J.D Power history, “reflecting its dedication to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction”.
