Service My Car and PlusX Electric partner to broaden EV charging access across the UAE

New agreement responds to rising demand for integrated solutions as UAE drivers increasingly balance electric and conventional vehicle ownership

Service My Car, the UAE’s leading digital car servicing platform powered by Bhawan Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PlusX Electric to improve access to electric vehicle (EV) charging nationwide.

The agreement was formalised by Prem Anandkumar N, Business Head at Service My Car, and Chintan Sareen, Founder of PlusX Electric, in response to the rapid uptake of EVs and the growing number of households running both electric and internal combustion vehicles.

The partnership reflects a broader shift in consumer behaviour, with many UAE motorists adopting EVs as secondary cars while continuing to rely on petrol or diesel vehicles for longer journeys. This emerging “ICV-EV combo” trend is driving demand for integrated, user-friendly solutions that support both vehicle types within a single ownership experience.

By combining Service My Car’s established vehicle servicing ecosystem with PlusX Electric’s EV charging capabilities, the collaboration aims to simplify dual ownership. The move expands Service My Car’s offering, enabling it to provide reliable charging support alongside its existing services and better meet the changing needs of modern drivers.

Prem Anandkumar N, Business Head at Service My Car, said: “This partnership reflects the evolving reality of vehicle ownership in the UAE. Many customers today are managing both EVs and traditional vehicles, and they need a quick solution that supports both. By integrating PlusX Electric’s charging capabilities into our ecosystem, we are making the ownership experience simpler, smarter, and more connected than ever before.”

Service My Car has built a strong reputation in the UAE for its fully digital approach, offering services such as vehicle collection and delivery, RTA testing, detailing, insurance, and vehicle evaluations. Through this partnership, it now extends into EV charging, further strengthening its proposition.

The collaboration will also support joint awareness initiatives and integrated services designed to make EV ownership more accessible. Together, the two companies aim to deliver a seamless, all-in-one solution for car care and charging.
