Al-Futtaim opens largest Volvo showroom in UAE on Sheikh Zayed Road, underlines long-term growth plans for electromobility

New Dubai facility becomes Al-Futtaim Volvo’s largest retail site in the UAE, reinforcing the brand’s investment in customer experience and supporting its transition towards electric vehicles

Al-Futtaim Volvo has opened its largest flagship showroom in the UAE, establishing a new retail presence on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road as the company strengthens its long-term commitment to the market and prepares for increased adoption of electric vehicles.

Designed around Volvo’s Scandinavian heritage, the new facility moves beyond the traditional dealership model, offering customers an experience-led environment that showcases the brand’s design, sustainability and technology credentials.

The showroom features Volvo’s full new-vehicle range, including hybrid and fully electric models, alongside the Volvo Selekt approved used vehicle programme. Customers will also have access to aftersales support and vehicle ownership services from the site.

Marco Melani, Managing Director of Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises, said: “This flagship showroom reflects our long-term commitment to the UAE and to leading the transition towards electric mobility. It is not just a retail space, it is an experience that brings Volvo’s values of safety, sustainability and Scandinavian design to life.”

The opening reflects growing demand for premium electrified vehicles in the UAE and forms part of Al-Futtaim Volvo’s broader strategy to expand its retail footprint and enhance the customer ownership experience.

The new facility also serves as the regional showcase for Volvo’s latest electric vehicle technology, including the recently launched ES90 electric sedan. Built on the manufacturer’s next-generation EV architecture, the model offers a WLTP range of up to 620km and is the first Volvo to feature 800V charging technology, enabling charging from 10% to 80% in around 20-22 minutes.

Available in three trim levels and two new exterior colours, the ES90 is priced from AED234,900 and includes an eight-year battery warranty, three years/100,000km maintenance coverage and home charging infrastructure.

The ES90 is now available to view at the new Al-Futtaim Volvo flagship showroom, with test drives offered by appointment.
