Dubai South and UPS have signed an agreement to establish a new facility within the Logistics District, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a regional logistics hub.

The agreement was signed by Tariq Badri, Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Dubai South, and Andrew Sleiman, VP Legal for the India Subcontinent, Middle East & Africa.

The signing was attended by Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, and Ismet Demirel, VP Transportation for the India Subcontinent, Middle East & Africa at UPS.

The new facility is expected to enhance UPS’s operational capabilities in the UAE, supporting international trade through its global logistics network. It is scheduled to be completed and operational before the end of the year.

Mohsen Ahmad stated: “Our partnership with UPS reflects Dubai South’s strategy to enhance Dubai’s role as a global logistics hub.
